Did some gardening down at the house last weekend that encouraged the buds to come out. Leo was a great supervisor. The backyard remains a jungle, with much more work to be done. But the front yard is filled with popping daffodils and tulips. The pansies are in the window boxes, and they worked hard all week to produce little bouquets. The buds on the climbing roses and hydrangea foretell an abundance of pink and white blooms in 60 days.
